I've had enough of these "safe natural gas" ads from the energy lobby that are designed to make ill informed people believe that this process of "fracturing" to extract natural gas from rock is completely safe and has no ill effects on the environment and ground water.
Go ahead and Google the fracturing process and read the stories of those whose experience with this process in their backyard is quite the eye opener. The companies extracting natural gas in this country are spending major dollars to candy coat the truth about the fracturing process.
I agree that we need to explore all avenues of alternative energy, but please don't blow smoke up my azz about the safety of your process when the facts are contrary to the BS you shovel into our living rooms several times a day!
