What do you think about the new Mac Pro, with 8 cores. From an pro audio look at things, the more the better I guess. The faster they can get thes machines the lower the latency can get on native system. And that means money in your pocket. The pro choice doesn't have to be protools anymore.

I guess the question now is: when do I jump in?? When these ridiculous upgrades are coming out every six months, it's hard to decide when to make an investment on a system. I'd hate to drop $4000 on an 8 core MAC with a 16 core MAC just around the corner! This technology is progressing at the speed of light! It's still pretty exciting stuff!  |
