I watch "Idol" every week, and I think at this point you can't rule out the possibility that Sanjaya will be the next American Idol! This proves once again that Americans prefer fluff over substance; and that probably won't change any time soon.
It'll be sad to see talented folks like Melinda Doolittle get sent home because the teenie boppers can't wait to see Sanjaya's next hair style. I had to cringe when I saw living legend Tony Bennett give his personal endorsement to Sanjaya, calling him "a great singer". I guess maybe Tony's getting old and his hearing has gone to hell!
